Alison and Guillaume, who is French, have the most romantic international love story! They kept running into each other while exploring the Himalayas, and kept their relationship alive even after returning to their home countries. As if their meet-cute wasn’t romantic enough, Guillaume proposed to Alison while she was visiting Paris!
Their wedding will take place on May 9th, 2015 at Alison’s parents’ home in Philadelphia. The intimate ceremony will be followed by a reception at the Morris House Hotel. This historic, boutique hotel’s courtyard garden is perfect for a spring afternoon celebration.
Another interesting fact about Alison: she is one of the owners of the Philadelphia-made fashion line Toggery. Her wedding promises to reflect her fashion-forward sensibility. She chose to use the Pantone Spring 2015 palette as the inspiration for her wedding’s color story. Her save the date features Strawberry Ice, a shade that’s both refreshing and warm.
I used Strawberry Ice for Alison’s and Guillaume’s names as well as to create some peony illustrations on the bottom of the save the dates. I created one version in English and one in French.
Alison and Guillaume, I hope your wedding day is a spectacular celebration of your love! Congratulations.
