On their November 11, 2017 wedding day, Ali and Dan were able to combine two of Philadelphia’s most unique areas together – Manayunk and Center City. Their wedding day began at St John the Baptist church, which is a beautiful, historical church in Manayunk. If you haven’t stopped to peek inside yet, you must! The lighting looks like it would create a wonderful glow. Post ceremony, Ali and Dan traveled to Center City to reconvene on Broad Street with their guests. The pair hosted their reception at Cescaphe Event Group’s Vie, which mixes art and luxury together to create modern style.
With two incredible wedding day locations, Ali and Dan knew they wanted to bring their stationery to life with a Philadelphia themed invitation. They both loved the idea of a pocketfold, and the Philadelphia skyline became a must-have. Ali also requested we introduce gold foil into the suite, and we did – the envelope liner, the city skyline, and the invitation’s script font all incorporated gold foil. Plus, the bellyband and the invitation’s second layer were also gold! The couple’s monogram was placed on top of the bellyband to complete the look.
Your stationery offers the first look into your wedding day, and Ali and Dan’s guests could tell from the moment they opened their mail that this pair was planning to honor Philadelphia from the start of their ceremony until the final song played during their reception.
