Allie and Ryan were married on October 8, 2016, and Allie was such a joy to work with! When we first started talking through her elegant wedding inspiration, she noted she wanted to incorporate navy, ivory, and gold into her invitation’s palette. This was a detail I loved for a fall wedding because it allowed us to break away from the season’s traditional palette and rely on a trio of colors perfect for any season. Allie also knew she wanted to incorporate just a hint of Disney, so we opted to include a few nods to “Beauty and the Beast” on A+R’s inserts and throughout the suite’s wording.
Ivory metallic cardstock was a wonderful choice for this custom suite’s design, and I’m convinced this was one of the details that allowed the gold foil and navy details to shine even more! The invitation was layered on top of navy metallic card stock for an extra elegant touch, and all of the inserts and the invitation itself were placed inside a navy pocketfold (Allie loved that this piece kept everything organized; I agree!). An ivory metallic bellyband was wrapped around the pocketfold, and I also added a monogram layered on top of navy metallic cardstock to complete the design.
If you can’t tell already, Allie and Ryan’s custom invitation suite for their Nazareth Academy Chapel ceremony and Atrium at Curtis Center reception was one of my favorites from my fall wedding season! I can’t wait for you to see all of the photos below!
