Now more than ever, I think we all need to add a beautiful dose of florals to our everyday lives. I’m happy to be the one to add blooms to your day by providing a closer peek at all of the details from Alexa and Sam’s custom wedding day invitations.
A+S are just a few days away from celebrating their first anniversary. They celebrated their wedding day on May 4, 2019, and they welcomed their guests to the Pen Ryn Mansion for both their ceremony and reception. Thankfully, they had a beautiful day, and I’m certain they captured gorgeous portraits outside on the grounds of their venue.
To celebrate the spring season and their desire to incorporate a romantic, spring garden feel into their wedding day, we turned to plenty of flowers. Alexa let me know they had planned to fill their wedding color palette with dusty blue, gold, and leafy greens, so we included the same colors throughout their suite. To ensure the suite felt romantic, we used florals on all of the pieces. We also hand-tore all of the edges of the invitations and inserts to create a deckled edge and a vintage feel. Two of my other favorite details are the monogram we decided to feature on their floral envelope liner. It turned out beautifully, and the single letter felt simple and elegant at the same time. All of the digitally printed pieces were held together by a piece of light blue vellum paper, and a custom wax seal kept everything closed.
I hope Alexa and Sam’s wedding invitation suite feels like spring to you when you enjoy the photos Haley Richter Photography captured.
