As much as I love creating save the dates filled with fonts, patterns, and texture, I am always so thrilled when a couple chooses to mail photo save the dates to their wedding guests! Photos are such a personal way to welcome your guests into your wedding celebration. There’s only one couple like you (!!), and guests always enjoy seeing those they love on a fun piece of snail mail they can pop onto their refrigerator. Plus, photos are also a great way for guests who know one person but not the other to “meet” the pair before the wedding (putting a face, style, and personality with a name is priceless!).
When Alex and David met with me to discuss their save the dates, they mentioned they were having engagement photos taken around the area of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. From Alex’s bright dress and personality to David’s fun sunglasses and loving gestures, their photos turned out wonderfully! Plus, the location offers a fabulous nod to their May 6, 2017 wedding’s locations. They will become Mr. and Mrs. at Old St. Joseph’s Church during their ceremony just before celebrating with their guests at the iconic Ballroom at the Ben with catering by Finley Catering during their reception!
Lauren Driscoll Photography captured Alex and David’s save the date so well, and I love how we paired their bright photos with a crisp white background and black font! Enjoy, friends!
