I have always been a hopeless romantic at heart. Growing up my dreams were filled with fairytales and weddings. I always loved art class, but my introduction to graphic design as a sophomore in high school was a truly pivotal moment. I fell in love with it!

When my two best friends each asked me to design their wedding invitations, it was like I’d found my true calling. Opening my own design studio seemed like the only thing to do.

Every day at April Lynn Designs, I get to combine my love of weddings and my love of graphic design. I specialize in wedding and event stationery, but I do work in all areas of graphic design, including branding, logo design, and web graphics.

In December of 2011, my own wedding dream came true! I married Mitch, the love of my life. We had a beautiful holiday-themed winter wedding. I designed our stationery—a red and silver vertical pocketfold with a snowflake and ornament theme.

My husband and I currently live in Langhorne, PA. We love to travel, snuggle on the couch with our pitbull, Halo, and watch football. I love the Philadelphia Eagles and Mitch loves the Atlanta Falcons! It’s always interesting in our house when those two teams play each other. 🙂

Now that April Lynn Designs has been in business for several years, I often think about my expectations when I first opened the studio. I can honestly say that the custom wedding stationery business has made me happier than I ever imagined. Each couple has a fresh perspective on love and on beauty. Each design adds a new facet to my portfolio.

I love seeing how each couple’s tastes and their personalities make each design unique. Being asked to help celebrate the love shared between two people makes me feel so lucky!
