Whenever I start thinking about a new year, I always pause to consider all of the suites I’ve designed, what seems popular, and what I would LOVE to see more of in the new months to come. This line of thinking means color palettes and details are at the top of my mind. I have to say, I am trying to act as a major rose gold advocate for 2018. But, rose gold needs a partner. Enter: navy.
I’m always interested in color pairings that feel timeless, elegant, and luxurious. But, I’m also drawn to colors that are appropriate for a variety of wedding styles. Plus, I feel palettes appropriate for each and every season should receive even more attention. Rose gold and navy meet every requirement!
Today I thought I would pull together inspiration for a celebration that’s romantic with just a hint of boho. As you can see in each photo, this soiree is equally as elegant and luxurious as it is relaxed. I’ve paired rose gold and navy together (obviously!), but I’ve also added in touches of mauve, ivory, and even green. If you wanted to add a deeper tone, burgundy would look fabulous too. Rose gold adds the hint of foil and glitter I will always adore, but the rest of the palette could be as beautiful during the winter as it would be during the summer. Simply put, rose gold and navy know no bounds.
Now that I’ve told you about the wedding palette I hope to see trend in 2018, you have to tell me yours!
