We’re coming up on a new year! That means that the trends for 2015 are already coming down the pipeline. I was excited to read this Huffington Post article on the 15 biggest wedding trends of 2015. It included everything from cakes to flowers, but you know me–I’m always looking for Philadelphia wedding stationery ideas.
Lots of the forecasted 2015 wedding trends could easily be adapted to your Philadelphia wedding stationery! Here are just a few examples:
Invitations
Embellished invitation suites are all about making a statement! Everything from laser-cut pocketfolds to ribbon to crystals is sure to be seen on wedding invitations next year. Some daring couples might even use all three! Evamarie and Matthew went with rhinestones on their blush and gold invitations.
Save the Dates
Engagement photography is a rising trend. It makes perfect sense that people would be looking for ways to use their photos! Photographic save the dates, like Erika and Antonio’s, are a great way to give guests advance notice.
Programs
English country is making a comeback! Make sure your theme is represented in your Philadelphia wedding stationery. Your programs should be printed with something soft and elegant–perhaps English roses, to match your floral arrangements? Becca’s fiance Paul created watercolor illustrations for their wedding invitation suite. Ashley Bartoletti was kind enough to photograph them for me among big, fat peonies and burlap: the perfect details for a garden wedding!
Signage
Cocktail signage, like these tent cards that I made for Kate and John, can announce 2015’s hottest drink trends. My sources tell me champagne towers have returned. One great idea is to mix in a fruit pure?e, creating a quick and easy signature cocktail!
Favors
Edibles are never unappreciated! Guests will love little packets of cookies, jars of homemade jam, or do-it-yourself late night snacks. You’ll need to label them, so have some custom wedding stationery printed up to match your theme!
Which of these 2015 wedding trends interests you the most? Are there any you’d consider incorporating into your Philadelphia wedding stationery? Tell me your ideas in the comments!
