When I’m designing an invitation suite, my greatest goal is to create a piece the couple loves because it blends their style together seamlessly with the style of their wedding venue. When Teresa mentioned how much she adores glam style and modern details, I knew both had to be included. Plus, Teresa and Jim were planning their wedding at The Merion, which is such a beautiful, luxurious venue. Clearly, there was not a shortage of inspiration! Their ceremony was held at the Church of Saint Martin of Tours in New Hope.
The result was one of my most innovative suites to date (if I do say so myself!) because we turned to…acrylic! The acrylic wedding invitation was printed using black and white ink, and a bellyband was wrapped around the invitation and a bright pink pocket fold – the perfect spot to neatly tuck digitally printed inserts inside. A simple, modern last name initial was printed onto the bellyband, which served as the perfect way to offset the glamorous silver glitter.
If you can’t already tell by my description, I had so much fun thinking outside of the box while creating what truly feels like a signature piece for Teresa and Jim. The great news is there are even more photos below thanks to Carly Fuller Photography, so you definitely won’t miss a detail!
