Since I designed and shared their dusty blue wedding invitation, “classic beauty” always comes to mind when I think of Amanda and Matthew’s wedding. Amanda loved the idea of including a two-letter monogram. Her inspiration was the roadmap I used while creating their wedding invitation, which was printed digitally. Now, I can reveal their wedding day to you (hint: just like their wedding invitation, their fete does not disappoint)!
A+M celebrated their wedding day on April 27, 2018. They each prepped for their day separately, and Amanda first revealed her wedding dress to her dad. Her entire look suited her classic and timeless day perfectly; she looked lovely! Post first look, Amanda walked down the aisle at St. Pius X church. I loved seeing how Matthew peeked down the aisle as she was walking toward him!
Once they were officially Mr. and Mrs., Amanda and Matthew travelled to Finley Catering’s Ballroom at Ellis Preserve in Chester County to drink, dance, and eat with their guests during their reception. The location is a historical landmark; however, the ballroom feels completely modern and timeless. I think that’s due to the fact that it features beautiful molding, tall ceilings, chandeliers, and a neutral color palette.
A+M transformed the space beginning with their textured escort card table linens, which also featured cards that I designed. In the reception space, neutral floral centerpieces dotted every table, and elegant purple uplighting highlighted the space, especially their dance floor, even more. Between their first dance, parent dances, and I’m sure plenty of dances shared with family and friends, I don’t think the floor was ever clear! But, that’s the way great weddings should be, in my opinion.
I’m so thankful I’m able to share these photos captured by Sean Marshall Lin! Congratulations on a beautiful day, Amanda and Matthew. xo
