It’s been way too long since I got to post about a styled shoot. The last one was all the way back in December! I have to say, I’m in love with the romantic Tuscan garden styled shoot that I collaborated on with the amazing planner Janice Wackens-Adighibe, photographer Sheronda Seawright, and a bunch of other stellar vendors.
The shoot was featured on the wedding blog Artfully Wed. It’s already received quite a bit of attention! It took place at New Jersey’s Scotland Run Golf Club, where the rolling green subbed in for the hills of Tuscany.
We draped a sweetheart table in ivory linens to highlight Kremp Florist’s vibrant floral centerpieces. The spread included plump green and red grapes, cheeses, wine, and a flower-adorned naked cake by Stella Baking Company. They also made beautiful gold and white tartlets to complete the tableau!
Real-life couple Lauren and Matt Loftus played our bride and groom. She’s wearing an ivory chiffon gown with a cowl back, and he was dressed by Armstrong and Wilson. Ericka Areh and Tonia Woods did makeup and hair, respectively.
For my part, I created escort cards, invitations, and menus in a deep purple with a rustic floral design. See if you can spot the Easter egg I included! Here’s a hint–their names have a little something to do with one of Shakespeare’s best-known plays.
By far, the coolest detail this styled shoot was the classic Rolls Royce. A car is a fantastic photo location, and it doubles as transportation to and from your ceremony spot and reception venue! We got some great pictures in there. The car was supplied by First Class Rolls Royce, and videographers Lovestruck Pictures captured the day, ending their video with a shot of the happy couple pulling away.
I’d like to thank all of the vendors who helped out with this shoot. I couldn’t have done it without you guys! I can’t wait to work with you all again soon.
