It’s Wednesday, which means a new real wedding post is in order! Today, I’m celebrating Victoria and Joshua’s July 21, 2018 wedding day, and I hope you’ll join me for a fun recap.
You may remember Victoria and Joshua from their wedding invitation reveal last year. Their suite was a triple layer design, and we focused on creating a classic design with their blush, ivory, and gold palette in mind. It was a lovely way to incorporate their style as well as offer a sneak peek to their wedding day aesthetic at the William Penn Inn in Gwynedd, Pennsylvania.
V+J both spent their wedding day mornings getting ready on site at the William Penn Inn. It was an excellent choice to make because it rained throughout their celebratory day. But, the weather did not stop their joy! Both look relaxed and as though they’re having so much fun with their respective bridesmaids and groomsmen, and Victoria and Joshua also braved the rain for a first look outside with umbrellas.
Due to the weather, Victoria and Joshua’s ceremony and reception both happened indoors. I cannot say enough how incredible it is when your venue has indoor locations on site that are both equally as beautiful! The ballroom was a gorgeous spot for Victoria to walk down the aisle toward Joshua, so they could recite their vows together.
Once they were officially a married duo, V+J joined their guests for cocktail hour. In between snacking and sipping, guests collected their blush escort cards to guide them to their tables during the reception. I always enjoy designing this day of stationery piece, and I also had the great joy of creating Victoria and Joshua’s table numbers!
Their reception design featured more blush, ivory, and gold, which looked lovely inside of the ballroom. Tables were complete with hydrangea and rose centerpieces, which offered a fabulous nod to their timeless design. The dance floor was full throughout the night, and Victoria and Joshua made sure to join in on the fun!
I loved working with this pair, and I’m so thrilled by how happy they look throughout all of the photos Unique Concepts Studio captured. xo
