Happy Wednesday, friends! I am back for another Wedding Wednesday, and this time I am thrilled to share Michelle and Bobby’s day with you. M+B were married on September 10, 2017, and they celebrated both their ceremony and reception at the Cescaphe Event Group’s Down Town Club.
In order to invite their guests to their fete, I had the great honor of designing their wedding invitations. The invite featured a pocket fold design, which represented a modern and chic way to keep the main invitation and inserts together in one blush and gold glitter piece. The palette and design of the invitation was the perfect way to offer a peek inside what would be a gorgeous, modern affair.
Michelle and Bobby each spent their mornings getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen prior to their ceremony. I love seeing images of bridesmaids who are clearly so thrilled for the bride-to-be, and I also adore when brides opt to do a first look with their dad. It’s always a sweet way to have a quiet moment with family before the rest of the day commences.
M+B celebrated their ceremony at the Down Town Club, and guests were welcomed to the space by a welcome sign I designed. The sign is a wonderful piece to use in lieu of traditional paper programs that guests may not opt to keep once you’re officially a married pair. Petals lined the aisle leading up to the front, and I also love the look of the modern chairs. However, the details I won’t soon forget are the beautiful white chuppah paired with the floral backdrop. Every piece was so thoughtfully included, which allowed this chic look to feel intentional.
After their ceremony, Michelle and Bobby enjoyed cocktail hour at the Down Town Club with their guests. Guests found their seats by picking up escort cards I designed to match their wedding invitation. Plus, I also created custom signage that was seen in the cocktail space, as well as throughout the ballroom. Inside the ballroom, guests dined around round tables complete with white centerpieces placed inside tall glass vases with candles. The simple look was chic once again, and it definitely reinforced the modern design. It’s a perfect look for the Down Town Club, and one I hope to see again! When a fete ends with fireworks, you have to believe it was completely unforgettable and incredible.
Michelle and Bobby, I am so thrilled you had such a beautiful wedding day. Thank you to Art Work Photography for capturing every moment and detail so well. xo
