I’m thrilled to share my first real wedding of 2018 with you! And, I’m at a near loss for words on how to describe all of the beauty you’re about to see below. Just know I am smitten with this soiree!
Marialaina and I worked closed closely together to design her invitation suite. Both she and Brandon noted they wanted their invitations to feel elegant, a style I’m always drawn toward too. Plus, Marialaina mentioned how much she loved triple layer invitation suites for their added glamour. A triple layer suite was definitely in order for this fete, so I layered an ivory and blush flourish suite on top of layers of gold glitter and navy card stock. The result was an invite that definitely caused guests to pause as they opened their mail!
M+B spent the day getting ready at Hotel Monaco for their January 6, 2017 wedding. M’s suite was perfectly glamorous, and I love the shot her photographer captured of her dress against the mirror. It perfectly captured the elegance and luxury of what was to come during the pair’s wedding!
Once ready, Marialaina and Brandon moved to their wedding venue, Atrium at Curtis Center. I love this Cescaphe Event Group venue for all of its luxurious charm, plus it looked absolutely magical throughout the night for Marialaina and Brandon’s evening wedding. M+B not only celebrated at the Atrium, but they were also married there! Between Marialaina’s dress and the beautiful, dramatic lighting, their ceremony looked like a dream. Plus, I also was asked to design their programs!
Once their ceremony was complete and they were officially Mr. and Mrs., it was time to celebrate. And, celebrate they did! Post cocktails, guests were welcomed into the main space at the Atrium once more. Marialaina and I decided a mirror seating chart was definitely in order, and it was a piece I was thrilled to design. Plus, I also completed their custom signage.
Candles lined the center of tables, and the cascading lighting overhead created a cozy, glamorous, dream-like setting for the reception. Their unreal blush and gold cake caused me to stop everything to take in every detail, and then there’s Marialaina’s dress. Between dancing with her new husband, Brandon, to moments spent twirling with her dad, Marialaina looked GORGEOUS in her gown on the dance floor. And, it looks like guests danced with her for the entire night!
Duca Studio, thank you so much for sharing these captures with me. They are fabulous! Marialaina and Brandon, I love your wedding so much. I could go on and on, but I’ll end by saying this: it was an honor to work with you, and I hope you had a wonderful first anniversary. xo
