Today I’m celebrating Lindsey and Rob, and I hope you will join me! Between dating and being engaged, Lindsey and Rob celebrated three years together before their wedding day on October 21, 2017. While designing their dusty rose flourish wedding invitations, I learned their wedding date held great meaning to Lindsey. October 21 was her grandmother’s wedding anniversary. Lindsey notes her grandmother was her best friend before she passed away at 97, so celebrating her wedding day on a date her grandmother also loved was a wonderful way to honor her and the relationship they shared together.
L+R note they love playing with their dog, visiting craft breweries, and spending time together, so I wasn’t surprised when I saw the first photos from their celebration at the Barn on Bridge in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. They both looked so filled with joy, and it’s clear they loved spending this ultimate day together!
Lindsey and Rob’s day began while they were getting ready for their ceremony. I love the natural light filled photos they captured as a couple and with their party before the day officially began! Because we tend to enjoy some of the most beautiful weather in October, I was so happy when L+R announced they were hosting their ceremony outside. The colors of the changing leaves and the elegant, fresh roses paired beautifully, and I was honored to design their wedding programs for their ceremony. These moments had quite the backdrop!
Post ceremony, Lindsey and Rob enjoyed cocktail hour with their friends and family before celebrating their reception inside at the Barn on Bridge. Because the venue is run by Robert Ryan Catering, I’m certain everyone enjoyed wonderful menu offerings! I designed the menus at each place setting that announced the meal, and I also created the escort cards, table numbers, and custom signage.
Lindsey and Rob shared dances with their parents, and plenty of dances together on their dance floor before they cut their cake. These two could not be a more perfect pair, and I felt we were meant to work together from the moment I first read their questionnaire. I enjoyed every moment, including when we created their thank you notes. Thank you so much to Jeff Frandsen for capturing Lindsey and Rob’s day so wonderfully! xo
