Lauren and Shawn were married at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort on September 19, 2016. To say I loved their wedding day would be an understatement! I first began working with the pair when I designed their shabby chic wedding invitations. We used their blush pink and navy blue color palette and accented the design with their monogram on both the suite’s bellyband and a wreath on the invitation itself. The pieces were the perfect way to offer guests a peek into what was such a beautiful wedding day!
Lauren added shabby chic details through her stunning lace wedding dress and floral handkerchief, and she could not have been more excited to slip into her gown! The pair also held hands rather than doing a complete first look (a great way to help ease nerves!) just before their outdoor ceremony in Bedford Springs, Pennsylvania.
L+S welcomed guests to an outdoor ceremony, and the view was marvelous. I loved contributing another stationery piece to their wedding day – their wedding programs. Their navy and pink color palette was again incorporated, and their monogram was of course included too! The pink bow tied at the top of each program was my favorite sweet detail.
Post ceremony, the newlyweds retreated inside with their guests for a lovely, elegant reception. Keys acted as escort cards, tables were filled with lush centerpieces filled with ivory blooms and greenery, and candles added a beautiful warmth to the atmosphere. Lauren and Shawn danced the night away, and it’s clear they started their marriage in such a joyful way. I’m thrilled to have played a part in such a beautiful day captured by KM Photography!
