Jessica and Francis are from Arizona, but they journeyed all the way to Philadelphia to get married at the Franklin Institute! I created custom wedding invitations for them, centered around their chosen theme: Disney. This theme took over their wedding in the coolest way. It even shaped their engagement story: Jessica is obsessed with Beauty and the Beast, so Francis took her to Disney and proposed at the Be Our Guest Restaurant!
The details of this wedding kept in line with the Disney theme! Jessica’s white pumps had “I Do” and Minnie Mouse stickers on them.
Like a true Disney princess, Jessica wore a tiara with her veil! She and Francis had their first look in one of the Franklin Insitute’s stairwells, then went outside to hook up with their respective wedding parties! The amazing view from the patio offered an insane view of the Philadelphia skyline.
Jessica and Francis’s wedding ceremony took place in the planetarium at the Franklin Institute. The dome ceiling lit up like the night sky, and uplighting illuminated the couple as they took their vows! This is such a cool venue, and a great idea for a unique ceremony.
The reception details included stunning red and yellow rose bouquets, huge rose centerpieces, teacups overflowing with flowers, and stacks of books. Beauty and the Beast made appearances everywhere! The tables were named after different Disney characters. The cake, iced with the words “And They Lived Happily Ever After”, had the iconic Disney castle on top.
Jessica and Francis, here’s to you actually living “happily ever after”! Your wedding was a dream come true. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it!
