In April, I shared Ilene and Brian’s blush and gold glitter pocketfold invitation suite. I adored working with these two to create the first of many pieces of wedding stationery, and I’ve been counting down the days until I could finally share their celebration with you. Friends, today is the day!
It’s impossible to think Ilene could have looked any more radiant than she did on her wedding day. She spent the morning with her family and bridesmaids prepping for a beautiful day ahead, and she looked completely joy-filled. Also, let’s take a moment to acknowledge how perfect Ilene’s bridesmaid dress choice was. All of her ‘maids wore sequined Adrianna Papell gowns, and they wove Ilene’s glamorous theme into the dresses beautifully.
Ilene and Brian recited their vows at Annunciation BVM Church in Havertown. Prior to the ceremony’s start, guests were greeted with traditional programs that I designed just for the occasion. Ilene looked gorgeous as she walked down the aisle, and I have looked at their post-ceremony bubble exit a few times already. It’s so sweet!
The pair rejoined their guests for their lovely reception at Finley Catering’s premier venue, Ballroom at the Ben. I’ve said it before, but I have to say it again: this venue is so quintessentially Philadelphia, so it’s always so enjoyable to design pieces for the space. Ilene and Brian were so thorough and thoughtful when thinking about their wedding day stationery. Not only was I able to design programs for their ceremony, but I was also asked to create escort cards and custom signage (think: hashtag, in loving memory, cards + gifts, and donation signs). I have to say, they looked stunning throughout the space, just like the couple!
I cannot get over the stunning transformation of the Ballroom at the Ben just for Ilene and Brian, and I’m so grateful to have played a part in the love and beauty surrounding these two on their first day as Mr. and Mrs. Congratulations again! Fabulous photos by Liz Warnek Photography. xo
