Dehondra and Lamar had such a beautiful wedding on August 24th, 2013. They were referred to me by Events by Katrina Gilbert, who planned this wedding with a color story of ivory and black. There were pink accents throughout the wedding as a nod to the late mother in law, and my Philadelphia custom wedding stationery designs fit right in.
I designed Dehondra and Lamar’s save the dates in pink and white with a rose pattern, and their invitation suite had the same pattern with the addition of a diecut silhouette and a pink ribbon. A lot of the day-of stationery I designed for them followed the same theme, including candy bar signage and a seating chart.
All it takes is one look at these stunning photos to see how in love this couple is! Congratulations, you guys! I’m so incredibly happy for you.
Isn’t this custom ringbearer pillow beautiful? It was carried up the aisle by Lamar’s son, Lamar Jr.
The couple chose to have their wedding portraits taken outside of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
There were so many delicate details throughout the reception, including pearls and pink and white roses.
The couple wanted to have a candy bar at their reception. I designed custom signage to pull the whole thing together!
A seating chart is one of the most simple ways to direct wedding guests to their seats. This one had the same petal design and outline that the couple’s wedding invitations had.
Aren’t these two the cutest?
Besides Katrina and myself, here is a list of the other vendors whose work shines in these photos:
Florist: Carl Alan Floral Designs
Venue: Galdos Catering
Photographer: Wil Reiner Photography
Baker: Van Earl’s Cakes
Lighting: Light My Event
Thanks to everyone for all their hard work. Your talents made this event truly unforgettable! And a big thank you, of course, to the happy couple. You two are so fun and romantic, just like your wedding!
