Meagan and Tommy have such a cute love story! They met while at the University of Notre Dame. Their story came full circle when they returned there for their wedding on July 12th, 2014! The ceremony took place at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, and the reception was at the Palais Royale at the Morris Performing Arts Center. I made their save the dates in their wedding colors: silver and coral. Their custom wedding invitations used the same beautiful color story.
The silver bellyband had their names linked by a little coral heart. I created a custom “P” monogram for Tommy’s last name (and Meagan’s new one!), Pecsok. Overall the invitations were understated and elegant, but nonetheless very pretty. I included a little map to both the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and the Palais Royale, an RSVP card with three entree choices, a reception card, and envelopes, of course.
That last part isn’t usually notable, except in this case, each envelope was adorned by the stunning calligraphy of Helene Gaffin! If you haven’t read my post on calligraphy, you should. It’s incredibly useful to hire a calligrapher instead of addressing the envelopes yourself, especially if you want them to have a uniform, professional appearance. I highly recommend that you use one. Contact me if you’re looking for a calligrapher, and I’ll be more than happy to provide a few recommendations.
Credit goes to Lovestruck by Nicole Marie for these photos! Check out my interview with Nicole from earlier this week. I particularly love how she staged everything with plates, glasses, and chargers. Thanks once again for setting up these shots so thoughtfully! And congratulations to Meagan and Tommy. I hope your wedding day was absolutely perfect!
