Kyle and Jonathan’s bronze and burgundy wedding invitation was rich in texture and color, which was perfect for their early fall wedding. Plus, the flourishes, script and block fonts, and thermography only added to the classic feel the couple hoped to achieve on their September 16, 2017 wedding day. The suite absolutely offered the perfect, well-suited peek!
K+J spent their mornings getting ready with their respective members of their bridal party. I loved seeing a peek behind Kyle’s makeup session because one of my favorite artists (and closest friends!), Tina from Make Me Glam, was behind her look. Tina even popped up in one of the photos, which makes me smile every time I see it!
K+J’s official wedding festivities kicked off during their ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova Church. The pair are both proud graduates of Villanova, and it was the perfect nod to their alma mater for them to return once more for their wedding ceremony. Plus, the interior and exterior of the church are nothing short of stunning. I absolutely love the shots of Jonathan walking down the aisle with his parents and Kyle doing the same with her father. Portrait sessions of the couple and their wedding party followed, and I’m convinced Kyle and Jonathan enjoyed some of the most beautiful light.
Kyle and Jonathan’s wedding ceremony could not have been in a more classic and timeless locale, so their reception needed to have the same feel. Blue Bell Country Club met every one of their design needs. The space boasts a classic ballroom with gorgeous chandeliers, plenty of space for a dance floor, and even more room for tables and chairs. I loved the nod to their burgundy and bronze color palette once again in their centerpieces!
It’s so clear Kyle and Jonathan enjoyed every moment of their reception, especially their time on the dance floor! Their dances with their parents were sweet, and they also made sure to gather all of their fellow Villanova alums together for a group photo complete with the flag.
K+J, I loved designing your invitation, and I completely enjoyed collaborating once more on your programs and escort cards. I hope you loved your wedding day and are prepped and ready to celebrate your first anniversary with joy!
Thank you so much to Anastasia Romanova Photography for capturing these photos!
