Today I’m celebrating Joanna and Samuel and their fall wedding invitation suite! I last talked about Joanna and Samuel’s October 7, 2017 wedding when I welcomed fall. Now, we have not only welcomed fall (and winter!) but Joanna and Samuel are officially married. It seems like it’s high time to share a behind the scenes peek of their wedding invitation!
When I met with J+S, they mentioned how important celebrating their wedding’s season was to them, but they opted for a slightly untraditional palette – plum and ivory. We carried the colors throughout their save the date, and the palette and heart details are back once again in their wedding invitation with the addition of gold. I wanted to create an image of leaves falling, so we opted to include hearts in the shape of leaves. The hearts cascaded down Joanna and Samuel’s save the date, and the same look was achieved on their wedding invitation too.
With such careful attention to detail and excitement for their wedding ceremony and reception at Huntington Valley Country Club, I’m certain Joanna and Samuel enjoyed a wonderful day. And, how could they not when their guests received such a lovely suite in the mail to celebrate alongside them?!
