Jessica and James were married at Cescaphe Event Group’s The Down Town Club on December 12, 2015. Between their fabulous venue and their deep adoration for Philadelphia, we knew every element of their invitation would be inspired by the city!
First, guests were greeted with a white shimmery bellyband complete with the couple’s initials and LOVE monogram. Once they opened the invitation, a silhouette of the iconic Philadelphia skyline acted as a backdrop for the entire piece. Text was printed digitally onto white shimmery paper, and the invitation layer was placed on top of silver shimmery cardstock. A final layer was used to complete the black shimmery pocket fold.
From the accommodations reserved for guests at the fantastic Hotel Monaco and Omni Hotel Independence Park to the wonderful venue and black, white, and silver palette, I adored designing each and every detail of Jessica and James’s classic, glam Philadelphia invitation suite!
