Jeanine and Nick were married on June 27th, 2014 at The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia. It’s a great choice of venue for an outdoor wedding in the city. They have a beautiful garden! However, they’re also located in a residential area. That means that the party needs to end at 10 PM, which is why Jeanine and Nick had their reception at the equally stunning Cescaphe Ballroom.
Jeanine and Nick had a classically elegant wedding with a black and white theme. They wanted to incorporate silver foil into their wedding invitation, and I have to say, the result was absolutely stunning! I created a silver foil design, and then blind letterpressed a lace pattern into the background of all the pieces for the invitation. I bound them with beautiful lace and a silver glitter band. A simple black bow finished everything.
To bring some more black into the invitation design, we also incorporated a black response envelope that had their address printed in silver. The envelope liners were also made with silver glitter paper, with guests’ addresses printed in black on the front of the envelopes.
Congratulations, Jeanine and Nick! You were a pleasure to work with : )
