If ever there was an ultimate pairing for a ceremony and reception, today’s custom wedding invitation suite represents it in spades! Genene and O’Neil celebrated their marriage during their ceremony at Bryn Athyn Cathedral. Friends, if you haven’t taken a moment to admire this church, you have to right now! It’s exquisite, and the architecture beautifully mirrors that of G+O’s wedding venue, Cairnwood Estate, where the pair were welcomed into an evening soiree with friends and family.
With two elegant venues taking center stage, Genene, O’Neil, and I wanted to highlight them. As guests opened their invitation, they were greeted with a monogram complete with an illustration of Cairnwood Estate. It was the perfect way to introduce such a lovely setting! Then guests saw the illustration again on the main invitation as another prelude, which also included a pocketfold to keep all of the inserts organized. Designed in a fabulous shade of blush, the illustration popped against the softer shade of the suite’s pocketfold, while the darker text and layer of rose gold glitter served as a wonderful contrast. Finally, we picked up the blush palette again with the envelopes.
