When the couple is equally as excited by your suggestion to ask guests to respond to your wedding invitation by checking, “Yes! I am ready to attack the dance floor!”, as you are, you know you are working with an incredibly fun pair. Clearly, Erin and Rich did not disappoint, friends!
E+R have such a fantastic sense of style. Erin’s number one wish was to mail guests an invitation suite that was both glamorous and rustic. I turned to wood tones and glitter (few things are more glamorous!) to make her wish a reality, and I love how each element combined perfectly.
Because the pair welcomed their guests to the John James Audubon Center at Mill Grove, we incorporated love birds throughout the suite, including their monogrammed rose gold glitter belly band. The venue has a distinct title as a bird sanctuary, so this detail suited the suite perfectly! Aside from the belly band, I knew I wanted to continue to use rose gold. Rose gold foil stamping became the most appropriate (and prettiest!) choice, so rose gold foil was stamped onto ivory metallic paper to make the main piece stand out as much as possible. The rustic-glam theme continued throughout the suite with digitally printed response (so fun!) and accommodations cards, and the entire suite was backed by a layer of walnut wood.
I’m so obsessed with this suite and the photos captured by Lauren Driscoll Photography, and I would absolutely love to design another with fall as my inspiration. I can’t deny it – rose gold is perfect in any season and so are couples who are undeniably enjoyable to correspond with during the design process!
I am very interested in this invitation. How much would this cost?
Hi Haley! Please email me at april@aprillynndesigns.com and we can continue this conversation via email. I do need to find out some information before I can give you pricing.
Thank you!
