I just love a classic wedding invitation, and there may not be one more classic and stunning than today’s custom suite! The top wish on Erin and Joe’s list was to send an invitation suite that was equally as inviting as it was classic, and I happily designed a suite they were thrilled to send to their guests.
I turned to one of my favorite ways to present any invitation suite: letterpress. This printing method is luxurious, timeless, and completely elegant – the perfect mix for E+J! Plus, the suite was printed in black ink onto thick cotton cream cardstock to make it even more stunning. Each of the inserts were printed digitally, but I worked diligently to ensure the look remained the same and the palette remained completely intact. All of the invitation’s pieces were held together in a pocketfold, and we chose to add a gorgeous finishing touch – an ivory metallic bellyband complete with black satin ribbon.
St. Elizabeth’s Church in Chester Springs served as the ultimate location for Erin and Joe to exchange their vows, and the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia-King of Prussia was a lovely location to celebrate with their guests at their reception. With locations equally as fabulous as their custom wedding invitations, I can’t wait to see photos from this wedding. Until then, I will happily take another peek at the invitation photos captured by Lauren Driscoll Photography. I hope you’ll join me!
