Aside from meeting each and every couple and having the honor of listening to them tell me their story, one of the most enjoyable moments of consultations happens as we cull through my past invitation designs. It’s during this time that I’m able to learn why certain suites catch a couple’s eye, and sometimes we happen upon one they love so much we only need to make a few changes. This is when semi-custom design happens!
During our meeting, Emma and Greg saw Erin and Rich’s invitation and loved it right away! E+R’s suite was filled with rose gold glitter and accented with love birds, and it was the love birds that caused Emma and Greg to know it would be perfect for their suite too. Because we were creating a semi-custom design, we made a few changes to Erin and Rich’s suite. We continued to use rose gold glitter as a layer, but we swapped out the main invitation layer for blush metallic paper. The blush and rose gold layers were placed on top of black matte paper and paired with digitally printed inserts for a touch of added glamour. Each invitation was then mailed to guests to invite them to Emma and Greg’s October 6, 2017 Union Trust ceremony and reception.
