Friends, this day has been almost a YEAR in the making. My new website is officially LIVE. I have had some incredible days as a business owner this year (and before!), but I can definitely say today is the very BEST one of 2017. I can’t even believe I can finally share my new website and brand (yes, brand!) with you.
Rebranding is not for the faint of heart, but my experience was fabulous because I worked with Philadelphia’s own Ink and Mortar. Together, Sharon and I worked to determine the ultimate feel I wanted my new brand to evoke, and I kept coming back to luxurious.
I tend to gravitate toward luxe papers and unusual materials, like acrylic and wood, in order to create invitation suites and stationery that feel elegant and timeless. Lasercut details are common, gold foil is a go-to, and custom venue sketches make a suite or envelope liner feel more personalized to your soirée. I always want to push the boundaries, but I never want a piece to feel like it was created to be trendy; it’s always created to be yours.
While creating my new brand, I was inspired by rose gold and marble details and a white, black, and grey palette with subtle hints of blush. I still love glitter (don’t worry!), but these new features feel just a bit more sophisticated; they feel more like the designer I have become.
You will notice my site’s layout is very similar, but I do have to point out my new logo. I designed it! Being a graphic designer, this is one thing that I wanted to tackle myself. I love the combination of script and block fonts, and the black looks so elegant and striking against the rest of the details on my site. As much as I adore the Ink and Mortar team, it’s so fun to know I was able to design a detail so close to my heart.
The Gallery page now houses a number of my best wedding suites, but my blog will still showcase each and every one of my most recent designs. Make sure to click on the stationery photo to read the story behind each piece! Those details – the couples behind the suite – are still why I fall in love with stationery each time I begin the process again. Services has a host of information about the process of working with me and everything you can expect to experience, and my About page shares my heart for my work and why I love this job each and every day. Please make sure to click around.
I’m so grateful and beyond excited to welcome you inside my new online home. The pictures are larger, the details more prominent, and I hope you find the site is just as easy to navigate as I imagined. Thank you for your unwavering support, always. xoxo
