I am so excited to share today’s invitation with you! Amanda and James were married on November 28, 2015 in Philadelphia at Old Saint Joseph’s Church. Following their ceremony, A+J joined their guests for cocktails, dinner, and dancing at the always fabulous Ballroom at the Ben. We wanted to honor the fantastic style of their venue, so I designed a black and gold invitation suite with an art deco theme.
To make the invitation pop, the gold foil was stamped onto black matte paper. Then the invitation was mounted into a black pocket fold – one of the top ways to elegantly house each additional piece in your suite. Inside each pocket, I placed digitally printed pieces such as accommodations, response, and reception cards. A gold glitter belly band held the pocket fold together, and a gold foil monogram acted as the most personalized way to complete the look!
I hope Amanda and James’s invitation, captured by Lauren Driscoll Photography, sparks your imagination for your own great gatsby style soiree!
